A Poem

When life gets you down, you must not surrender.
The earth's a magical place if you would just look and see.
Look with new eyes of love and understanding
Do not give up, for there is one who loves you.
Sometimes life doesn't go your way
Sometimes the heavens turn against you
Or so it seems
But the heavens are not bigoted
They do not weigh the die in favor of one or the other
Things that happen are accidents
As inevietable as day and night
Just flow with the passes
Take them as they come.
Each one makes you stronger
If you don't give up.
So many things to do, and such a short time we have on this earth
Spend it wisely
And remember the one who loves you dearly.
